Increase in Yacht Claims

Wesmans’ Yacht Claims department has been on the increase overthe past year and as the summer is upon us, our experienced claims handlers and surveyors across the Nordic countries are experiencing a peak in the number of claims being submitted.

“Although our business is claims handling and surveying, it’s both our and our Principals’ ambition that people stay safe at sea, while enjoying time on board their pleasure crafts” says Danielle Norum Phillips, LL.M. Claims Adjuster, supported by Operations Director Mikael Broberg who highlights that the waters around the Nordic countries can be challenging to navigate, even on the best of days.
